Matik is on a growth trajectory and as a result we are looking for a Sales Director to represent our SEI Laser line and play a significant role in our expansion initiative.


The Sales Director will specialize in selling SEI Laser products. Since 1982 SEI Laser has been one of the most dynamic and innovative companies in the world of laser technology. The right candidate for this position will identify and qualify SEI Laser products in the USA & Canada, guiding the prospect through the entire sales process from A – Z. Responsibilities include:

  • Outbound calls to potential prospects
  • Following up to advance leads and prospects
  • Tracking and documenting the sales process in the CRM software
  • Networking with a variety of professionals within the industry
  • Meeting clients virtually and face to face
  • Crafting and delivering client focused proposals


You will be an excellent candidate for this position if you possess the following traits:

  • 3+ years of Capital equipment sales experience (Required)
  • Wood, Metal or Technical textile printing experience (a plus)
  • Ability to communicate with, influence, and persuade prospects at all levels from the factory operations to Owners and C-Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure to execute moderate to high capital sales transactions
  • Patience, tenacity and professionalism to endure long term, complex sales cycles
  • Success with penetrating new markets, establishing new customer contacts and relationships, and using networking to expand existing customer relationships
