optima 2000 combines proven technology with many
innovations which ease handling of the machine, optimize
setting times and at the same time reduce maintenance and
space requirements to a minimum. The combination of the perfect control for winding tension
and contact pressure with the Goebel slitting system (with
wrapped bottom cutter shaft) guarantees finished roll quality
which cannot be surpassed. UNWINDING
An unwind unit for small stock rolls, integrated in the
machine, is suited for thin materials due to the short web
paths.  To
accommodate stock rolls with larger diameters, the machine
can be supplied with a shaftless unwind with lift-in arms
and catwalk.
Both variants can be provided with brake generators. SLITTING
Using a trolley, the knife cassette in the machine may be
completely changed for a second cassette - pre-made ready. In addition to the quick-size change, the optima 2000 can
slit with several systems (shear cut with circular knives,
razor blade cut and roll shear cut) in the same machine. WINDING
The following winding systems are possible:

UNLOADING
The unloading system comes onto the cantilevered rewind
shaft, leaving the rewind shaft in the machine, for quick
removal of the finished. This method allows for a short
finished roll change cycle. |
