OMET VARYFLEX FP

The VaryFlex's "Multitension" tension control system, combined with its large-diameter, driven chill drums ensure a perfect draw stability even on films like BOPP down to ½ mil thickness. The gearless drive system means infinite print repeats from 2" to 33". The Varyflex FP also employs a quick-change cartridge system for anilox rolls and ink and the ability to prepare jobs outside the machine. The print units use light, durable sleeves instead of metal plate rolls with gears. The sleeves mount on print mandrels which are directly servo-driven: this system means extremely accurate plate pre-positioning and a unique, highly efficient register control system.

The VaryFlex employs a dual-servo-drive system, meaning that on each unit, the plate mandrel is driven by one servo motor and the impression roll, anilox and chill drum are driven by a separate servo motor. This system, along with the fact that there are no gears on the press, results in very low waste, fast makeready, and litho-lie print quality.
