Overview
With more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing equipment
for the graphics arts industry, ESS Technology has extensive knowledge of processing
web based products. Initially units for existing presses and finishing lines were
built but this was quickly followed by complete web finishing lines.
The configuration is custom designed and built for your exact requirements.
The finishing lines are robustly constructed and specified for 24/7 production
with a high uptime and on the floor yield.
Pre-printed reels are unwound with an exact web tensioning system for accurate
register control relative to the preprinted images. Irrespective of the number
of units in the line, each process has its own register adjustment for precise
control of the final product.
The side frames are built in such a way that allow for easy retrofit or changes
to the layout of the finishing line.
A variety of materials can be handled on the finishing line, coupled with the
flexibility of ESS engineering expertise, provides a unique solution for your niche
market.
The line typically has a SW (Starwheel) Sheeter on the end which can deliver difficult
to handle shapes and thicknesses. ESS also offers an automatic robotic in-feed
for packing lines from the back of the sheeter for a complete turnkey production
solution. Transfer stations are also available for feeding boxing or wrapping lines.
