(intermittent) web presses for label, paper and film applications. Codimag represents the finest
in European technology married to quality, profitability and productivity.
Codimag offers both waterless offset and letterpress print platforms in a semi-rotary press which
means there are no cylinder changes for differing repeats. Exceptional color reproduction with
exacting register, even at high speeds, are the hallmarks of the Codimag presses.
Two web widths are offered in the VIVA series of presses, the smaller 13 ½” (340)
and 16 ½” (420). Both are available in waterless offset or letterpress and offer
up to 11 print/converting modules. In addition to waterless offset and letterpress all the VIVA
presses offer silkscreen, flexo (varnish), hot foil stamping, embossing, die cutting in any combination
as standard. IST interdeck UV utilizing the highly efficient MBS 5 lamps, is the drying engine
of choice. Eltromat motorized ink ducts and automatic register systems are available as options.
VIVA 420
The VIVA 420 is the latest addition to the Codimag range and features the revolutionary
new Aniflo Offset technology. The VIVA 420 is a completely shaftless press and
offers a print repeat range from 8” -17” which yields a large print
area of 16 ½” x 17” for larger image applications in label
and film stock. The Aniflo system has a flexo ink system (an Anilox roller) with
an offset image carrier, this is the first time this technology has been installed
successfully on a narrow web press. The benefits are no ink keys with a short
roller train providing offset quality print. Like its smaller sister the 420
Aniflo offers a press that is quickly up to color and in register resulting in
minimum waste. The new operating system is an assistant to the operator providing
easy and clear menus, job storage and diagnostics (local and remote).

VIVA 340
The VIVA 340 has a print range of 6” – 12” in semi-rotary mode
(on the letterpress model 14” can be run in full rotary). This press is unsurpassed
in minimum make ready times and low waste (in many cases under 5%), consequently
run lengths from 1,000 – 30,000 feet are very profitable and the VIVA 340
is a strong alternative to the flexo process in the short run sector.
