Codimag
is a French manufacturer of semi-rotary and waterless offset
presses for the label industry. The name Codimag means quality,
precision and productivity with European technology.
Codimag technology offers production of label printing without the need for cylinder changes.
Exceptional reproduction, exact registers all at high production speeds.
There are two models in the VIVA 340 ( 13 3/8" width) range,
the waterless
offset version and the letterpress version. The VIVA 340 is available with waterless offset
and letterpress combined to fully utilize the process capabilities for the most demanding of
label application. Print repeats range from 2" up to 12".
The latest addition to the Codimag range is the VIVA 420 (16 1/2" width) which is currently
available as a letterpress machine but the waterless variant will be available shortly. Print
repeats range from 8" - 16"
VIVA 340
The Viva 340 is a variable size rotary press without change
of cylinders, for label printing. The press requires only
one operator for complete control of all functions. The
340 uses magnetic cylinders for printing as well as die-cutting.
Printing plates are Toray water washable, steel-based photopolymer.
Plate punch supplied with the press, punches positioning
slots allowing for mounting within seconds giving exact
register. No need to change cylinders. It is possible to
change size without changing cylinders, giving very short
make-ready times. The Viva 340 comes in two models:
VIVA 420
Codimag will be showing the new VIVA 420 Offset at Label Expo in Brussels,
26th
- 29th September 2007. The press will be equipped with the
revolutionary Aniflo
Ink Train which offers a short ink train with offset quality.
