UCONN economics student plans to use marketing to Move Matik, Inc. Forward
Matik, Inc., distributor of converting, printing, slitting and packaging equipment, is pleased to announce the addition of Jarrett Chouinard, who will be responsible for further developing Matik, Inc.’s marketing plan and presence. Chouinard’s focus is on various forms of content marketing to enhance customer interactions.
Chouinard brings enthusiasm and experience to Matik, Inc. with his recent work at the Hartford Business Journal in marketing and social media/event photography. Prior to this position he spent three of his previous summers at TRUMPF Inc. in the sheet metal department, gaining a strong understanding of the manufacturing industry.
A native of Canton, CT, Chouinard studies at the University of Connecticut where he is pursuing a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Digital Marketing & Analytics. Chouinard comments “I am excited to start a new challenge with Matik, Inc., a company that has had a wildly successful history and assist in adding value to the customer experience.”
Matik, Inc. recently and successfully rebranded their company, which included a new logo, website, various social media accounts, and customer-contact strategy. Jarrett plans to give Matik, Inc. a completely new identity for marketing activities. This will help Matik, Inc. more effectively promote the companies they represent and spread the word how Matik, Inc. can help its customers “Move Forward.”
